When your school district subscribes to Planet French, teachers can self-register with a special link. You can retrieve your link from your school district’s French consultant, or by contacting guy@planetfrench.com
For assistance, please contact guy@planetfrench.com or use the chat system on Planet French.
That link, once clicked, takes the user to a special “full access” form.
This is not the same form that guests can fill on the front end of Planet French. Guests only have very limited access. Don’t use the guest form if your district is subscribed.
After a user fills the “full access” form they get to when they click the special district’s link, they get a confirmation email which they need to click to authenticate themselves.
Once they click the confirmation link, our system will send them a second email with their username and password. ***IMPORTANT: They should check their spam folder if they don’t get that confirmation email. Users need to click the confirmation link!
***IMPORTANT: Please be sure to whitelist/authorize emails coming from:
- guy@planetfrench.com and from
- mailer@infusionmail.com
in your email application. Make sure to whitelist/approve our emails in your student’s computers, at school and with your school district’s IT team.
School district’s often block outside emails, as they should, so you will need to ensure we are considered “insiders” with your IT department.
If you have been given access to Planet French but you or your students are unable to access, there are a couple of reasons that might cause the issue. Here are some solutions:
1-Please check your junk/spam folder. Your welcome email containing your confirmation email, or the one with your username and password might be there.
If that’s the case, please authorize/whitelist emails coming from guy@planetfrench.com and mailer@infusionmail.com .
We send out important updates periodically.
2-Clear your cookies and cache from your browser.
Cookies and cache keep previously visited pages and web sites in your browser’s memory for faster future access. However when the destination pages change, the old versions “stick” and it may cause some issues.
For registration/login or other issues, the best way to contact us is via the chat on Planet French.
